One developer, five apps, no funding.
KCH Labs is one person. I'm Heston Dsouza: I write the code, answer the support email, and decide what ships.
Every app here started as a problem I had: a meeting I could not remember, a password my family would never have found, a month of spending I could not explain. Each one solves that problem and then stops. Leaving things out is the only reason one person can keep five apps running at once.
Software only
KCH Labs sells software. There are no physical goods and nothing ships in a box.
Delivered online
Every product is used in a browser or downloaded from an app store. Nothing is posted to you.
Runs where you are
The apps run in any modern browser, with native builds for desktop, iOS and Android.
Why I build
Most software keeps growing until it needs a tutorial. I would rather ship something you understand in the first minute and then never have to think about again.
How I work
I ship small changes often. When you email about a bug you are writing to the person who wrote the line that caused it, which is usually why the fix goes out the same week.
